According to IMDB, Juno may have been added to a new project: Coronado may star Douglas Booth as Simone and Juno Temple as JoJo. In the meantime, check out our new Career pages: Movie & TV!

Appearing on screen since she was 17, Juno Temple has celebrated a few firsts on set – especially on Vinyl, the HBO drama about a record executive desperately trying to keep his label afloat. Temple, now 26, plays Jamie Vine, an ambitious assistant who has her eyes set on a permanent A&R position and the sexy lead singer of the Nasty Bits played by James Jagger. (Yes, the son of The Rolling Stones lead singer and co-creator of Vinyl, Mick Jagger.)

Vinyl just so happens to be the starlet’s first series, following a string of notable film roles, including Atonement, The Dark Knight Rises, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, and Black Mass. “I was pretty terrified about the idea of TV, if I’m being truly honest,” Temple tells ET ahead of the series’ finale, which airs on Sunday, April 17.

“What if I want to do an independent film in Milwaukee or Australia? You’ve locked yourself down. It’s kind of a daunting thought,” Temple explains. Now that she’s survived the first season, however, she’s grown comfortable with the commitment, which she compares to a marriage, as well as the fear of wanting to philander with other projects.

It’s always a good thing when your work aligns with your passions and for Juno Temple, that means acting on a show that centers something she cares deeply about: music. “I like listening to all of my music on vinyl, I really do,” Temple tells Bustle, immediately realizing how meta it sounds since she currently stars as Jamie Vine on HBO’s Vinyl. But it’s clear how much she genuinely means that. “What I like with music is listening to an album beginning to end to listen to the story.”

It’s safe to say that as an A&R assistant at Vinyl‘s American Century Records, Temple’s character would agree with this sentiment. Jamie Vine is not a real person from music history, but over the course of the series’ first season, she’s proven to have an ear for innovation that just may help her discover a soon-to-be icon. While her associates are busy searching out another classic rock ‘n’ roll star, Jamie sets her sights on something much more ambitious: inventing punk. Fittingly, when I ask Temple what real ’70s stars she would like to see portrayed on Vinyl next — since the series has already featured depictions of artists like Alice Cooper — she lists punk legends.Vinyl animated GIF

“I hope we go into the world of CBGB’s, the real punk stuff,” Temple says. “The Ramones and people like Television would be so cool. How great would it be to see young Iggy Pop?” The 26-year-old also says that she would be a fan of Vinyl‘s own punk act, The Nasty Bits, if they were a real band. “I would have had a total meltdown over Kip Stevens,” she says of the band’s fictional lead singer. “He’s so angry… and such a babe.”

Juno Temple has joined the cast of ‘Hated Woman’ ! She also posted a photo of her character on her instagram:

Josh Lucas, Adam Scott, and Juno Temple have joined the cast of The Most Hated Woman in America, the Netflix movie being produced by Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman’s Brownstone Productions.

Vincent Kartheiser (Mad Men), Rory Cochran (Black Mass), Michael Chernus (Mistress America), Sally Kirkland (Counting Des Moines), Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect) and Alex Frost (See You in Valhalla) have also joined the drama, which started shooting this week in Los Angeles.

Laura Rister of Untitled Entertainment is also producing.

Hated Woman is based on the true story of Madalyn Murray O’Hair (Leo), an American atheist activist who convinced the Supreme Court to overturn prayer in public schools and was later kidnapped and murdered by a former member of her organization along with her son and granddaughter. Beset by controversy, O’Hair was named “the most hated woman in America” by Life magazine in 1964.

“The colorful and complex story of Madalyn Murray O’Hair has been a passion of ours for several years and could not be more timely,” Banks and Handelman said in a joint statement. “We’re thankful for both the commitment of Tommy and Melissa and the support of Netflix in seeing this film to production.”

Lucas recently wrapped the indie drama Youth In Oregon while Scott, who last appeared in the horror-comedy Krampus, is part of the ensemble cast of HBO’s prestige series Big Little Lies that also stars Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon.

Temple was seen in Black Mass and stars on HBO’s Vinyl.

Brownstone’s slate includes Pitch Perfect 3, which Banks directed, and a reboot of Charlie’s Angels. They are also developing adaptations of the books White Girl Problems and Heist Society for Lionsgate.

From executive producers Martin Scorsese (who directed the pilot), Mick Jagger and Terence Winter, the new HBO drama series Vinyl (which has already been picked up for a second season), set in 1970s New York, is a ride through the sex-and-drug-addled music business at the dawn of punk, disco and hip-hop. And it’s all seen through the eyes of record label president Richie Finestra (Bobby Cannavale), who is trying to save his company and his soul without destroying everyone in his path. The series also stars Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Juno Temple, James Jagger, Ato Essandoh, Max Casella, P.J. Byrne, Jack Quaid, J.C. MacKenzie, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen and Paul Ben-Victor.

During this exclusive phone interview with Collider, actress Juno Temple (who plays Jamie, an ambitious assistant in the A&R Department of American Century whose passion for music could possibly help propel her career) talked about being in awe of her character, auditioning for Martin Scorsese, being directed by him for the pilot, what made this one of the most fulfilling experiences of her life, what makes her character so ambitious, whether she’s really that fearless, what she personally thinks of The Nasty Bits, and how excited she is to learn about where things will go in Season 2.
