Here’re the screencaps from Episode 6 of ‘Mr. Corman’ – don’t bother searching for the previous 5, since those didn’t include Juno:

Good news is, she’s featured in the next Episode too – expect the screencaps of it very soon! After the Read More-tag, you can join us for a little review of this 6th “adventure”:

After watching the trailer for this series, I didn’t expected much from it, and the fact that Juno wasn’t in the first 5 episodes told me that I was right. When I’ve got the 6th, the first surprise was how short it is: only 25 minutes, almost half of a regular ‘Ted Lasso’ installment.

I’ve never did anything like this before, jumping into the middle of a series, but the second surprise was that this works on it’s own extremely well!  The first few minutes inside the chapel were kinda boring, since I had no idea (or care) about the guy who died, but then Joseph Gordon-Lewitt’s Josh meets Ms. Temple’s Megan in the cemetery garden – this is where the story actually begins…

I only had a little basic outline of these two, but that was totally enough. Their relation to each other slowly unfolds, and while you see that they’re on friendly terms, the woman’s sudden burst of tears during shopping and the man’s almost perfectly stoic nature tells you, there’s something here behind the surface. Twice, we can see a huge CGI-meteorite heading towards Josh, this is a sign that he has some mental problems, but it’s kinda insignificant in this episode. What’s more interesting is that his relation with Megan’s mom (played by the eternal Xena, Lucy Lawless) is still good, despite the fact of the separation, and this causes more trouble after they visit her together; and all of this culminates in the last scene, where the exes confront each other.

We can theorize a lot about what had happened. Who’s fault was it really? Do they only see and tell their sides of the story? Is the breakup responsible for Josh’s condition? Maybe everything was answered in the previous episodes, maybe it will be revealed in the next one, but two things are for sure: Both of them are acting great and it’s nice to see Juno’s hair in it’s natural state again.

After seeing the preview pictures from Episode 7, I’m even more excited to watch it. Maybe this will be a very good series – we’ll see!

All in all: I can wholeheartedly recommend Episode 6 of ‘Mr. Corman’ to every Juno-fan out there, plus to people who like to watch dramas. You won’t be disappointed!
