It was a good example of what works in this show. Aside from the very forced “my face scored a goal” and the boring telephone of Rebecca’s mom, it was great in every aspect, because it mainly focused on 2 of the 3 best characters: Keeley and Roy. And I’m not saying Keeley because she’s played by Juno, but because she’s great. I have a hunch that she was sent to the match, because otherwise who would care about it at all?
I guess the standard ‘Ted Lasso’-upload will be on Fridays from now on.
