We are proud to present the screencaps from Juno’s recent short film ‘Meet Cute’. Did you know that the title comes from the film industry, and it means ‘first meeting of two people who will form a couple’?

September 23, 2017   JasonX   Comments Off on New Juno short film: ‘Meet Cute’

IndieWire published an exclusive synopsis and some pictures from a up and coming short film, starring Juno, ‘Meet Cute’. Judging from the description, it will be very interesting!

Nick (Jon Bass) would like to think he’s “endearing weird,” but the world seems to perceive him as “weird weird.” That’s tough enough, but when the feisty Dani (Juno Temple) is thrown into the mix, Nick’s non-endearing weirdness is pushed to some crazy ends.

In Ben Smith and Megan McDonnell’s ‘Meet Cute’ (written by Smith and produced by Josh Thurston), what’s meant to be a low-key study date between the two adorably mismatched stars shifts and changes over the course of an afternoon, initially weird, then charming, then right back to weird weird. (Short version: Hey, it’s really easy to be confused for a serial killer.)

As wacky as Nick may be, his open-hearted nature inspires the often-guarded Dani to play along, and the pair’s forced mingling turns into something very different. And then it’s totally upended by a series of strange misunderstandings and at least one deeply ill-advised snoop session on Nick’s computer.

It sounds, well, cute, right? Get ready, because Smith and McDonnell have some wicked — and quite well-crafted — tricks up their sleeves, bolstered by a pair of charming performances from their very game leads.

September 21, 2017   JasonX   Comments Off on ‘Wonder Wheel’ update

The previously unknown plot of ‘Wonder Wheel’ has surfaced, along with two pictures from the movie.

‘Wonder Wheel’ tells the story of four characters whose lives intertwine amid the hustle and bustle of the Coney Island amusement park in the 1950s: Ginny (Kate Winslet), an emotionally volatile former actress now working as a waitress in a clam house; Humpty (Jim Belushi), Ginny’s rough-hewn carousel operator husband; Mickey (Justin Timberlake), a handsome young lifeguard who dreams of becoming a playwright; and Carolina (Juno Temple), Humpty’s long-estranged daughter, who is now hiding out from gangsters at her father’s apartment. Cinematographer Vittorio Storaro captures a tale of passion, violence, and betrayal that plays out against the picturesque tableau of 1950s Coney Island.

September 19, 2017   JasonX   Comments Off on Extra infos about Juno’s episode of ‘Electric Dreams’

An article, published by bloody-disgusting.com back in this year’s June reveals some interesting informations regarding ‘Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams’, and the episode which features Juno. It seems she will only appear in 1 of the 10.

Airing on Channel 4 in the UK later this year and Amazon Prime in the US, anthology series ‘Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams’ will tell 10 different sci-stories across 10 total episodes. The stories are based on shorts written by the award-winning novelist, and we’ve just learned that Juno Temple (‘Killer Joe’) and Janelle Monae (‘Moonlight’) have signed on for an episode.

Via Deadline, Temple and Monae will lead the “Autofac” episode

Despite society and the world as we know it having collapsed, a massive, automatic product-manufacturing factory continues to operate according to the principles of consumerism – humans consume products to be happy, and in order to consume continuously, they must be denied freedom of choice and free will. When a small band of rebels decide to shut down the factory, they discover they may actually be the perfect consumers after all.

Temple will play Emily, one of the rebels, and Monae plays Alexis, an Autofac representative. Jay Paulson (‘Grimm’) and David Lyons (‘ER’) will also appear in the episode.

Peter Horton (‘Grey’s Anatomy’) directs the episode written by Travis Beacham (‘Pacific Rim’).

Each standalone episode of the series is inspired by Dick’s short stories as adapted by British and American writers including Ronald D. Moore (‘Battlestar Galactica’, ‘Outlander’), Michael Dinner (‘Justified’), Tony Grisoni (‘Red Riding’, ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’), Jack Thorne (‘National Treasure’, ‘Skins’, ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’), Matthew Graham (‘Life on Mars’, ‘Doctor Who’), David Farr (‘The Night Manager’), Dee Rees (‘Mudbound’) and Travis Beacham (‘Pacific Rim’).

The series features an all-star cast including Vera Farmiga, Steve Buscemi, Greg Kinnear, Mireille Enos, Anna Paquin, Terrence Howard, Timothy Spall, Richard Madden, Holiday Grainger, Jack Reynor, Benedict Wong, Geraldine Chaplin and Bryan Cranston, who also serves as an executive producer on the series.
