An article, published by bloody-disgusting.com back in this year’s June reveals some interesting informations regarding ‘Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams’, and the episode which features Juno. It seems she will only appear in 1 of the 10.

Airing on Channel 4 in the UK later this year and Amazon Prime in the US, anthology series ‘Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams’ will tell 10 different sci-stories across 10 total episodes. The stories are based on shorts written by the award-winning novelist, and we’ve just learned that Juno Temple (‘Killer Joe’) and Janelle Monae (‘Moonlight’) have signed on for an episode.

Via Deadline, Temple and Monae will lead the “Autofac” episode

Despite society and the world as we know it having collapsed, a massive, automatic product-manufacturing factory continues to operate according to the principles of consumerism – humans consume products to be happy, and in order to consume continuously, they must be denied freedom of choice and free will. When a small band of rebels decide to shut down the factory, they discover they may actually be the perfect consumers after all.

Temple will play Emily, one of the rebels, and Monae plays Alexis, an Autofac representative. Jay Paulson (‘Grimm’) and David Lyons (‘ER’) will also appear in the episode.

Peter Horton (‘Grey’s Anatomy’) directs the episode written by Travis Beacham (‘Pacific Rim’).

Each standalone episode of the series is inspired by Dick’s short stories as adapted by British and American writers including Ronald D. Moore (‘Battlestar Galactica’, ‘Outlander’), Michael Dinner (‘Justified’), Tony Grisoni (‘Red Riding’, ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’), Jack Thorne (‘National Treasure’, ‘Skins’, ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’), Matthew Graham (‘Life on Mars’, ‘Doctor Who’), David Farr (‘The Night Manager’), Dee Rees (‘Mudbound’) and Travis Beacham (‘Pacific Rim’).

The series features an all-star cast including Vera Farmiga, Steve Buscemi, Greg Kinnear, Mireille Enos, Anna Paquin, Terrence Howard, Timothy Spall, Richard Madden, Holiday Grainger, Jack Reynor, Benedict Wong, Geraldine Chaplin and Bryan Cranston, who also serves as an executive producer on the series.
