Here’re 5 new photos of Juno, 2 from the past & 3 from last week (thanks for ‘hourly juno temple’ on Twitter for the first 2); followed by a bit of a long podcast, where Ms. Temple talks about her experiences filming ‘Palmer’ and a little about ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 2:

(The first 2 are obviously not from 2022, but I just can’t be bothered to find out, when they were made, probably around 2016.)
Here’s the podcast, forward to 1:31:58 to hear her speak (or click this link):
The interviewer mentions only her supporting roles as examples of her work (‘Atonement’, the ‘St. Trinian’s’ movies & ‘The Other Boleyn Girl’), but I’m happy, that he picked the ‘St. Trinian’s’ films, because those are less mentioned. About the ‘Ted Lasso’ segment, she said that she was afraid of accepting the role, because of the sudden cancellation of ‘Vinyl’.
The most interesting pieces of information about ‘Palmer’:
- She only had about 24 hours to change from Keeley of ‘Ted Lasso’ to Shelley in ‘Palmer’.
- The very first scene she had to do was her character’s last scene.
- She’s still very nervous about all of her roles, because she wants to do them as best as possible, and she transferred this nervousness of hers into the nervousness of Shelley, who’s making that huge decision.
- She does a long praising of costars Ryder Allen & Justin Timberlake.
- She tells some facts about Shelley’s choice of drug, crystal meth, that she has researched.
- She talks about the scene where Shelley’s back after like 4 months of absence, which I have described here as “the Undead Juno scene”. In her own words: “I’ve looked like a bat.”😀 She says that the behavior of her character in that sequence has been copied from a real life meth-addict whom she saw, and that person avoided eye contact as much as possible. Shelley does the same with Palmer there.
It is possible, that until the start of ‘The Offer’, new material will be scarce again. We’ll see…
